Radhe Shyam is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The film is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages.Presented by Krishnam Raju, the film is produced by UV Creations and T-Series.Set in Europe of 1970s, the film is scored by Justin Prabhakaran with cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.

Principal photography of the film commenced on 6 October 2018 with filming taking place in Hyderabad, Italy and Georgia. The film is scheduled for release on 30 July 2021.

As reported earlier, Radhe Shyam is a period love story that is set in the backdrop of Europe. While Prabhas will essay the role of a fortune teller, Pooja Hegde is rumoured to play the role of a princess.

The film has been in the making for about two years now. In March, the entire team including Prabhas, Pooja Hedge, Priyadarshi and Bollywood actress Bhagyashree headed to Georgia to shoot important sequences for the film.

The team quickly wrapped up the shoot and flew back to India on March 18, a few days before the government imposed the nationwide lockdown to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic. On returning, the actors and technicians quarantined themselves for two weeks.

Radhe Shyam is produced by UV Creations on a massive budget. The film will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. According to reports, the film will hit the screens in 2021.

Ever since the film’s first announcement poster was out, it was being dissected with fans suggesting that the film could be a love story with a time travel backdrop given the clock covered with flowers at its centre. Other fans, however, seem to think that the film will be another action film from their star.

Other actors in the film include Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapoor and more.

Uniquely, the film had announced two set of music directors for two regions. For the Hindi version, Mithoon and Manan Bhardwaj have been roped in. But for the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions, Justin Prabhakaran is the main composer.

Given the superstardom of Prabhas, one of India’s few pan-Indian stars, the film will release in four languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, who made the much-loved Jil, the film is being shot by Manoj Paramahamsa who shot classics like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
